Hi all,

I haven't posted in quite a while. Now I'm hoping someone might be able to tell me what a couple of 1/4" poly lines are that sprout off of the lines that supply water to the galley sink? There are two of them. One on the hot supply the other on the cold. There are "T" fittings in the supply runs and a small valve in the bottom of the "T" fitting. Both of the 1/4" lines run down to the floor where they come together into some kind of bulkhead fitting that is next to the bulkhead fitting in the floor for the propane line coming up.

I'm going to replace as much of the original fresh water piping as I can with PEX and if these 1/4" lines are not important I want to eliminate them. My thinking is the simpler the system the less opportunity for leaks.

Thank you everyone for your generous help,

Mark,

Sounds like the drains for winterizing.

Mark,

It sounds to me like someone added drain lines for winterization of the
coach. If that's true, you should get water running directly outside when
you open those valves.

If that's what they are, you'll have to decide whether you want to keep
them for their intended purpose or intend to use another winterization
procedure.

Mark,
The small lines behind the galley are probably the drains to winterize the water system. Before most people blew out there water system for winter storage you could drain the lines behind the sink and the overhead lines from the other side.

Drains. Got along without using in Utah then all these years, I'd not
worry about replacing them.
