I've been thinking about those units for a while. Now that they're on sale I should make a decision...

It occurs to me that the fans will pretty much be ON all day long here in Southern California - any thoughts about the longevity of those little motors ??

I have no idea, however, the fan they turn is small and plastic, they don't move a hell of a lot of air so I reckon they should last
a good while.

Bdub,

The flange is plastic and it "bent" enough to seal to the curve on the roof on my Avion. IIRC I applied a polyurethane sealer around
the base to make sure there were no leaks.
