I have cobbled air solutions for my two years of ownership, and ready to put in a permanent pump...
Priority not high enough for $200 Viair, so staying creative.
Got a pump from a Lincoln town car in a upick yard yesterday. Tested with a spare battery yesterday, appears to run and pump fine. Also has a switch/solenoid thing on the head of the pump that functions as the release valve for the original system which I won't need. The mounts are a weird angle but look like they will make it quiet when all attached.
Anyone else use/try one of these with any tips before I go to hook it up to electric and air systems?
Thanks

If your air suspension is OK (No leaks), then just about any air pump capable of 125 psi will work. If you are using the manual leveling switches frequently then you will probably want a higher capacity pump. On the road mine only kicks two or three times in an 8 hour period.
