After flipping the RM 2620 fridge ( propane and 110 V) 5 times and letting it sit 24 hrs between flips, I hooked a 12 V battery to operate controls, and plugged it up. Freezer temps sitting on the floor in the barn is 2 degrees f. Is this in the usable range?

Sounds good to me! Might be a good idea to check what the temp is in the fridge as well.
Regards,
Rob M. Rob is right. 2F in the freezer might be close to freezing in the fridge. You don't want stuff to freeze in the fridge part. If it is 35 - 38, probably don't need to adjust the thermostat. If it is below that, tweak it a touch.
