I was wondering if an engine can still perform with some carbon buildup on the intake just below the carb base? My coach has been running poorly for a few years with multiple problems some solved and others..... Anyways, it seems to run great when running but stalls after 10 minutes or so as if it is starving for gas. Thanks for any input. It should be noted that the carb has been on and off three or four times and the carbon buildup is a little worse than last time.

Check to see if you have a crack in the manifold, in the exhaust crossover.

I am pretty sure I do not. I put the block off plates in and had the heads off as well. It seems like it is starving for gas.
