The saga continues. I added 10 gallons on new gas and still can't keep the 455 running. excellent vac reading and then boom a stall. I noticed a small
papery type object in my container of gas that was filled by the pump when the line was off the carb. I was testing the fuel pump for delivery.
Anyways, not sure what to think. Sounds good until stall. I squirt a little gas in the carb and it wants to keep running. I wonder if my idle jets are
dirty! The carb is coming off again for the fourth time! Putting on an electric choke and see if a cleaning helps. Thanks for all the advice.

I say 10 minutes and at full operating temp. I pulled the carb off and the intake has carbon buildup and the lower gasket seems like it is saturated quite abit with gas. I truly feel that my intake manifold is fine (cracks) since it still wants to run if yadd gas to the carb as it starts to stall. Now I am wondering if the excess carbon lining my intake could be a problem. It seems like it is running great until it stalls. Thanks
