Oregon also has the attendant pumps law on the books. Crazy thing is the voters repeatedly vote to keep that requirement. Go figure.

In this case, it is not an organized labor issue. It is a state law. They believe that citizens are too stupid an careless to manage any fuel
dispensing device.

I would imagine that there are many people with handicaps that make attendants a very welcome sight..........

The tiny added cost for the many makes life just a little better for others. Seems a good thing to me.
