Ordered a Ragusa step via Applied 4 months ago. Still don't have it.

Twice I have called Applied, who was told it would ship in 2 weeks.

Called again, and ragusa told them it was out of stock. Applied refunded my payment and kept the backorder open for me

Anyone else had a similar problem? Would I have been better off ordering directly? [same price]

When I was in FL I talked to Jeff at Alex Sirum. He said Ragusa is having a problem with their foundry. Until the problem is resolved, it is unlikely they will get new shipments. Applied may keep telling you 2 weeks, but I doubt they have a timeframe from Ragusa if Jeff didn't. This has been a problem since at least last summer.

My experience with Applied has been that I don't get billed till they ship.

I believe that Cinnebar has the Ragusa step in inventory. Call Steve and
check it out.

Thanks I will.
In fairness to Applied, they were originally told it had drop shipped to me already.

I think businesses often forget that it is better to be honest with people when there are delays and let them know up front
