We noticed that the 12 volt light in the hall was out. Begin a clever fellow I tried the light over the couch (driver's side) and it worked. Hmm. Tried the light over the dinette and it was out. Hmm. I followed this procedure to find the light over the stove worked, the porch light didn't the light over the driver's side of the bed was not working but the reading light at the foot of the be worked.

I changed #2 fuse and the lights came one.

Later we noticed the hall light was out. So were the others. Hmmm.

I tested the circuit by touching a new fuse and could see this was a hard short. Being a sharp individual I began unplugging devices one by one and arcing the fuse for a moment. Eventually I had the forward fantastic fan, lights, porch light switch, hall light fixture all apart. I still had a hard short. Hmmm.

I realize the only thing left to do was consult the wiring diagram. I followed the black (#2 fuse) wire and found the entry/door buzzer circuit. I remembered that last August I had taken the bulb out of the entry light because we were dry camping and it was not LED. This whole time I had been working with the door open and the screen door closed. I closed the door and tried my fuse. No short.

I stood on my head and inspected the socket under the dinette seat. Sure enough the hot wire was pushed into the socket and the center contact was touching the socket. I put the bulb back in and reassembled everything.

Silly me. I would have had the #1 fuse do one side (or front) and the #2 fuse do the other side(or back). Hmmm.
