Does anyone recall what year the Odyssey mid-row seats had left and right arm rests? I’d like to set a rule for my junkyard search so I might poach some.

Larry,
When I purchased my seats from Roll X Vans in Savage Mn, the mid row seats
from the Odyssey had only one armrest. That was in November 2011.
Roll X does the conversions for handicap people.
We bought the mid row seats out of a Chrysler minivan.

I think if it doesn't have the built-in middle row middle seat, then the middle row captains chairs should have both armrests. My 2000 has them. The later years had the seat hinge placed higher up your back and are less comfortable (IMO).

I believe the 2004-2010 Honda Odyssey center seats had two arm rests. I found a pair of 2004 seats and they have both arm rests.

What year Chrysler Town & Country Van were your seats out of? As for the 2015 the "Stow 'n Go" in the second row look like they would work, no info on previous years. The Dodge Grand Caravan also looks like it could also be a candidate for donor seats too.

My seats are out of a Dodge Grand Caravan (same seats as Chrysler) pre 2009 which was the major body change. I currently have a Stow and Go minivan and the middle seats are very uncomfortable compared to the ones we use in the GMC. Ironically the Honda and Chrysler/Dodge seats were the same except for upholstery. They were all made by Johnson Controls at the time.

>Grand Caravan
We had JimB install 2002 Grand Caravan front seats in the Royale. They look great, a perfect style blend with a GMC. But, looks and easy availability aside, I went with the GC seats because my wife once had debilitating, extreme sciatica problems and we ended up using GC from 1994 to present day to allow her to ride/drive more than 30 miles. Today, her sciatica is well under control (only a nuisance issue) and I mostly credit GC's excellent seats.
The short story is that back in the early 90s I read a review of non-commercial vans somewhere and the review, while finding several negative issues with the GC, gave its highest recommendation for the seats. They even went into a tear-down of the springs and said Dodge had really spent the money on their seats.
FWIW, I drive a 2002 now for a beater. It's fitted with a driver's seat out of a 2000 Town & Country (this was an upgraded stock seat with better lumbar support. We also have a 2010 GC for a travel car, though the front seats aren't quite as firm as pre-2008 models, IMO. My personal observation, having logged some miles in the 2nd row, is that they aren't quite as good as the front row. While I like the idea of a dual armrests, I but couldn't take the chance of sciatica on a trip, so I asked JimB to put them in no matter what they looked like. Luckily, they turned out great.
