While attempting to tighten up my Ragusa door handle, I accidentally pushed the nut on the door frame all the way through. I remember a fairly recent discussion on kep nuts or nutserts or similar that provides the nut on the doorshell for what is probably a 10x24 screw to mount the handle.

Any help, anybody???

TIA (thanks in advance)

A Keps nut, (also called a K-nut or washer nut), is a nut with an
attached, free-spinning washer.
Nutserts and Rivnuts are an expanding type gizmo with threads to accept a
machine screw.
you might try a thin steel washer with same size hole as the hole in the
door for more push-through resistance.

That is a nice set nutserts, I bought this one from HF and it can double as a riveter too and surprising enough it is a few bucks less for more features.
