Quite by accident, I stumbled upon an unusual procedure for crude campsite
leveling. It involves a "hot wheels" model of our GMC coach with custom
paint, thanks to Kim Davison of Boston Bar, B.C. Canada. I've had it here
in the coach since Kim gave it to us as a present. Took it out of the
package, set it on the dinette table and it promptly takes off rolling
towards the low side or end. Turn on the ignition, push buttons on the
wireless remote until it no longer runs off the table. Adult beverages are
a help in this process. (Grin). Today is our second wedding anniversary.

I like it ! I don't know if others have this issue, but if I level using the dinette table, my kitchen countertop is not level--not good when frying eggs. As long as the beverages keep coming it becomes less of a problem.

I've got one of those 4 armed light up level things you see in the FMCA magazine. Thought I was so clever with that thing until I realized the table and counter weren't really level and the floor is a bit crowned. Now I've gone back to the two pronged method of bubble levels on both sides of the fridge and the water in the sink test...

Bob,
Ours is much the same, so I level for what we will be doing. I am still good a ballasting for trim so I don't need any level.

To all who wished us a happy anniversary, thank you very much. Judy and I
were just treated to a great time by fellow GMC'ers. Drinks and dinner and
good friends. Don't get any better than that.
