Thanks for the responses last week. I picked up a scrap piece of stainless steel at the local welder and installed the new stand for the Firestone Air Compressor (part # WR1-760-9285)

Any suggestions on where to place the "Remote Inlet Filter Air Line"? or can I just plug it right into the unit? seems like that might work fine, just not sure which direction to face the inlet filter- guessing to the rear?

Thanks, JT

I installed a viar with a similar remote, I elected to run it into the coach under the dash, I cannot hear it there, and the inlet air should be drier to prevent condensation. My $.02.

JT,

At first I ran the line inside Double Trouble but the noise drove me nuts so I mounted it in the corner above the horn to keep rain
water from getting sucked into it.

Rob M.

When my Firestone compressor lunched, I installed a VaAir and tagged the remote inlet filter on the pedal box under the driver's side hood flap. I usually don't know it's running except the LO AIR light comes on.
