I've got a '75 Glenbrook and need to replace the rear suspension air compressor (under the hood on the drivers side), possibly also the rear drivers side valve connectors/ high control valve/ air bag (been sitting a half inch up in the back for longer than I'd like to say). I bought the Firestone 150 max PSI from Gateway and after I pulled off the original blue-capped one, found out that they're not a match. I'm thinking about welding on a larger shelf but not sure if there's an easier way?
Here's a few pictures that shows what I'm working with.. appreciate any advice- http://cbabc.com/air/
Also... what's the best fuel injector/ additive for when we've been sitting for a while?
Thanks, JT

JT,
Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum.
I would just do the cheap like Rob says, but I would use either aluminum plate or marine plywood because that is what I have.
There are two different things I have used to try to clean up fuel systems, Chevron stuff with techron (because we used to use it in the engine labs and I could always slip a little), and Lucas injector cleaner because I bought some once and it seemed to work. Most of all, drive the coach.
How long have you owned the coach?
When you can, build a sigfile (might look at mine), those that choose to help have all the good info at the start. Yes, everything matters. But if we have a good name (we like real names so when we meet, we know who you are. A short coach note so everybody knows we are dealing with a '75 Glenbrook with someone else's fuel system and anything else that might matter. A location is also nice. Some that can may want to lend a hand. (These people are helpers like that, and it is only part of what is special about the group.)
Lastly, I like to welcome new people in a way that is from my own life as a waterman. These are people much like those you will meet here. This is a paraphrase of the way any new owner or vessel is greeted in that world. So,
May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.
Welcome JT.
