When i fold the two small rear sofa's down to make a bed the one over the propane tank is about 1" higher than the other. On measuring the propane tank enclosure and the water tank enclosure I notice that there is a 1" difference in height. Is this a common problem? I was thinking of removing the sofa over the water tank and adding a 1" shim to make them level. Is it only 2 bolts screwed to an piece of aluminum angle that anchor the sofa?

Alan, Im curious about this as well. I noticed this when I put the sofa on after having it off to work on the water tank. Was it like that before I took it off? I don't know, but I didn't notice it. I tried like hell to get the propane side sofa to go down thinking I hooked it back up incorrectly without luck. For now I'm living with it, but if someone know what's up I'm all ears!

Thanks Dan
When you took yours out did you only have to remove 2 bolts screwed to an aluminum angle at the front?

Alan

I'm using the email version of the GMC net.
While it might seem irrelevant, if we knew where you lived, it might
simplify the next question you ask. As for this question, I think you
might be getting some insight as to why people remove the folding rear
seats and build beds with mattresses.

Alan...like you, we had the "extra" dinette in the rear of our PB.
It was so uncomfortable to sleep on that I finally took it all out and installed a permanent bed...just saying !
