In my quest for the ideal GMC, I'm going through the entire Forum (at page 460 now), reading the blogs, signed up on fb and finally and likely most importantly, visiting as many current owners as possible.
Saw my first one last weekend (Thanks Tiler) and hope to see a couple more this weekend.
Not buying for a couple of more years (Till Son Graduates) but I want to get the best one I can afford.

I'd recommend you buy as soon as you see a floor plan you like.
Over the next couple of years you will get to 'play' with it and bring it
up to your standards, see what you like and don't like about it and maybe
do a few 'weekends' each year so that when the time comes, you are ready to
roll...not ready to buy and have a years personalization to do to it.

Luvn737s wrote on Sun, 29 March 2015 16:40"Buy the best one you can afford" is great advice. The best money to spend on your coach is other people's money. Fixer-uppers rarely are. It depends on what you want to do. If you like to tinker, and have a good place to work on it, you can play all winter refurbing one that needs TLC, then all spring, summer and fall going places in it. Repeat year after year adding updates and upgrades.
