I went to retrieve my reworked knuckles yesterday. (Lord, he does beautiful work.)
He was looking the best I have seen - recently. His oncologist reported that he is doing every bit as well as could be hoped.
Dave said that the chest surgery is early May. They have to replace his aortic arch. It will be along time on the table, but with Dave's health now being as good as it is, the surgeon was very positive. I am just hoping the surgeons are as good as what they do as Dave is.
Needless to say, he will not make Patterson. He may make some of the local rallies with the Great Lakers, but even that is not a given until the sawbones likes the idea. He may not even make Rapid City, but watch out when the clear the chocks. I know he will have an acute case of cabin fever by then.
Prays still can help.

Wonderful news. I've only talked with Dave over the phone when I ordered my adjustable drag link, but what a nice guy...and what beautiful work he does. Looking forward to getting this thing installed at GMCMI. Look out, Alex.
