I am in the market Now for an awning for my 28 ft stretch. Not sure what length will work best for this. I would like to limit or eliminate side supports if affordable. Also want powered unit as I am getting old for deploying awning by myself. Would like to install this spring so let me know how your doing with your investigatoon.

IIRC, the longest Omnistor is 6.5 meters. They probably don't have much
need for longer in Europe.
They are available powered; about $275 premium IIRC several years ago.
