Just finished replacing the hot water tank. Not a bad job once I found and removed the nut that holds the rear cover to the tank. I hated to cover the SS tank I got from Jim K. I should have left the insulation off and installed a clear door under the sink to show it off.

Then you obviously have purchased Jim DeMaere's(sp) made in Lethbridge tank!

It is indeed a work of art...and like you said, a crying shame it has to be
stuck in an under sink hole. It should be dead centre in the living room.

You are right Mike. There was a made in Canada sticker on it.

Paul, This Brook Park weather sucks. Even with the heater on I had trouble feeling my nuts while starting the mounting bolts.

These tanks are made my Jim DeMares in Canada. At one time he used to sell direct, but now uses Jim K. I rebuild mine back in 2001 to repair the leaks in our HW tank. They are a work of art, I took pictures of and almost hatred to put it in.
