Don't know if it's nationwide, but I had to get a new sealed beam and found the normally $26 seal beam at Advanced Auto Parts was on clearance for $5. So I bought all 3 they had. Just a good deal I thought someone might need or want to get a spare or change to a brighter light.

what was the brand and part number? I'm guessing it a Sylvania SilverStar Halogen Sealed Beam Part No. H6024 ST? They are $25.99 locally and most Advanced Auto don't have any in stock.
thanks

Yes to both, I couldn't think of the part number at the moment.

Skip,
Went online to Advance Auto Parts as we don't have one near to us. No discount on the halogen headlight H6024 ST, but went on chat and found something possibly interesting. If you go on chat, they will (at least this time they did) give you a discount code worth 25% off on any purchase. $50 maximum savings. Free ship over $75.
Best to snoop around the local store for the clearance.

My son was, until this year, the General Manager of a local Advance. I know the folks there very well and they 'take care' of me since I can't use his employee discount any more. I asked them about sealed beams on clearance and they knew nothing. If you can get a part number or brand/model, I'll try and find out more.
