I had a friend that was having fuel issues. And was convinced that it was from ethanol. We have had the blended gas here in Iowa since 1973. I've never had any real issues with it. I've been putting E-85 in my 65 Corvair for 8 years with no problems. ( It's at $1.24 a gal now. ) So I went looking elsewhere. I parked the GMC on a steep slope so the drain plugs were at the low point.Got a large glass container. Pulled the drain plugs on both tanks to get a large sample from each tank. We got water that had some other strange liquid contained in the water. That solved his problems. I think that some of the issues of the last few years are from other changes to gas. My 2 cents Kerry. Bob Dunahugh Member GMCMI Source North America. T
