I looking at reupholstering my '76 26' Eleganza, 26-3 floor plan coach. I've searched The Forum for the amount of fabric required to complete the job. Based on the limited data I found, it appears the job would require approximately 25 yards. I realize, the quantity of fabric will vary somewhat depending on the repeat distance of the pattern. For those of you who have have reupholstered your coach, is 25 yards a realistic baseline number or is it significantly higher?
Thanks again for your inputs.

John,
I figured two yards per human and had plenty. That was for our rear bath
Royale which had the two couch/bunks opposing each other and the dinette
(seating for 10). I had a few yards of fabric left over but I chose a
solid fabric. Had there been a drop match involved the upholsterer said
it would have come out about right. With the extra we had some bolsters
and toss pillows made. I suspect if you have the original captains
chairs and wanted to redo those (for what reason I don't know other than
to stay original…they are too uncomfortable and made before reclining
was standard) then another half yard may be wise.

I visited the "teamteets" link and that is where my 25 yard estimate was derived. However, I believe I've also seen larger numbers in the 30+ yard range.
