I guess this question should be directed to Ken Burton as it involves grounding issues with the aluminum radiator. I know it is supposed top be grounded via metal tubes going from the transmission to the trans cooler in the alum radiator but what should be the proper grounding procedure if the hoses are not metal all the way. In the Clasco the PO plumbed in an external trans cooler and an inline temp sensor with rubber connectors so there is no metal to metal connection between the transmission and the alum radiator. Thanks.

Jerry,

Do you have JR Slaten's braided SS oil cooler lines, if yes Bob's your Uncle as it's grounded through those lines.

If not just take a piece of wire, strip the ends off, and use a small hose clamp to attach it to the metal tubes across one of the
rubber lines that broke the connection. Wrap tape over the clamp and wire.

Regards,
Rob M.

Just in case you think I'm ignoring you, Rob gave you the same answer that I would have given.

With the aluminum radiator you have the option to install an anode in the low coolant sensor fitting.
