I'm about to drill some holes in a bracket I'm making for a 7 prong hitch socket/plug that will be mounted using the same bolts that hold the Merrell Hitch and spare tire bracket to the main cross frame at the rear of our coach. There are 8 bolt holes, 4 on each side and of those 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. I might have messed up my template and am 35 miles from the coach. I need the center to center distance between the bottom 2 bolts on the left side. It should be the same for each pair of 2 bolts across from each other. I think it's 3 inches but I have written down 3 1/8. Does any one have that measurement handy and would please share it with me.
Thanks!

I am not sure what two holes you are asking about but why not give Blaine Merrell a telephone call. He has a jig made up that all hitch parts are assembled on prior to welding. He has the correct measurements on that jig and could easily tell you the measurement you are asking about.
