Jim, if you are on, can you let me (us) know how you rewired the Onan start-run function on our Clasco? It looks like you might have just wired a rocker switch to jumper 9-5 to bypass everything on the board and then used the existing Onan start switch to energize the Onan starter since the Onan stop switch is inoperative. If so, it seems it would be easy to just put in a new board to restore the stock Onan protection functions, right?
Given how well the Onan now runs in the Royale with its new board and Gary Bovee Pertronics module kit, I would like to do the same for the Clasco.

Thanks. If anyone else knows the answer please respond, too.

Jerry and others,

Go to my web site on the "information" page and scroll down to "Onan Prime
Circuit". This is probably the circuit I installed. It is a great aid for
an Onan that is working well-- gives hotter spark and primes the fuel pump
during start mode. If the board fails, you can look at it as a "backup" to
force the generator to run. If the new board you put in the other one
works -- great, if the other one seems to have and old board or something
put one in it too but still leave the prime circuit I put in because one
day you will be happy you had a counter measure when Mr. Troll says no to
your start command,

Jim bounds

My project next weekend, actually I need to figure out why mine is not running. I have a feeling it's actually a fuel feed issue
