Hello All.

It has been some years since I posted to this forum.

I need to sell my motorhome for parts or repair, and thought I would post here prior to Ebay and Craigslist..

A few years back, I stopped using my 1973 Painted Desert, but I ran it at least once a month. Later while cutting my grass, I noticed it leaking. My tractor had thrown a stone and put a hole in the radiator. Since that time, I have not replaced the radiator, or run the engine. Prior to this time, I had upgraded to HEI, and the motor ran strong. I also replaced the generator ignition points with the Onan solid state ignition, and it ran good as well. It has old rims, old tires, bad window weather stripping, and a bad heater. It will have to be towed. I also have some new parts Carter electric fuel pump, fender vents, vacuum pump, one NOS airbag still sealed in factory box, and more, which I will throw in. I'm getting too old to mess with it, especially in winter. It has been sitting on a blacktop pad in my back yard, and not in an overgrown field. I don't know what to ask for it. If interested, please make offer. I'm pretty sure I am still on the blacklist, under Delaware. G

Thank you

Phil.

Phil,

Please let me know if you sell your coach, and to whom. If it's going as a "parts" coach only, I'll keep it in the Registry, but mark it as another one *Gone*.

Thanks

My records indicate that until the end of 2012 that motorhome was owned by Doug and Libby Hammond of Dundas, Ontario, Canada.
When they joined GMCMI they indicated that it had 75,300 miles.
They were likely the second owners.

to Emery, and John Shotwell.

My apologies if I have lost track of the discussions on this thread.

My 1973 Painted Desert is TZE063V100639. I am the third owner and have owned it since 1987. My information was provided to the registry about the time it was started.

I have a 1973 Canyonlands '26er and NEED a REAR GAS TANK. (Among other things)
If successful in procuring the tank, IT WILL NEED A RIDE to Southern California. Where are you located, Phil?

Hi Tim.

Thank you for your interest in my coach. I am located on the opposite coast. Dover, Delaware.

What I mean by parts or repair, is to sell the coach intact for someone else to use for parts or hopefully to repair it and put it back on the road.

Sorry, and thanks again

Phil Vazquez
