In the world of air/oil cooled Porsches, the mantra is 200 degrees oil temp on the gage is hot, 220 is really hot and 250 is too damned hot. Don't know if that applies to our coaches or not.

Jerry,
I think you'll find, counter-intuitive as it may seem, that air cooled
engines generally run cooler oil temps than water cooled ones. Ken Burton
recently reported aircraft engine temps similar to those we see/saw on
Porsche's (The '57 356A I restored in '74 is long gone from my life.) :-(
