Emery - I'm sure you have only the best of intentions, but since this is an open forum that you don't even need to belong to to view, it is probably best not to post addresses. Might I suggest that instead you ask members to PM you if they need the address? There are people out there who would try to take advantage of someone in Terri's current situation. Thanks - Dave

I agree! In education we learned to never post any personal information. I figure if it is out there, fine; I didn't do it. I did a quick 30 second Google. I didn't find either Dan or Teri.
I humbly suggest taking it down. If she wants it here, she will put it here. Ruth just said, if I were to pass, please do not put our address here.

I don't know if you guys are on the Forum or use the email list. I use the email list and any message I receive contains the email
address of the sender.
I Googled each one of those email addresses and below you can read what popped up. As you can see there's a plethora of information
about each one of you out there for the asking including addresses and phone numbers!

I know Dan hated these kinds of list arguments.
Nevertheless, sorry Rob. You are not going to move me on this one. I had a business for years, on the Internet and because teachers needed to get in touch with me I made my information readily available. Partially because of that I get tons and tons of junk e-mail. (I don't filter much because teachers sometimes don't make grading, report cards or pggp apparent in their e-mails to me.) The address you found was because of my owning pggp.com. I just didn't hide it.
But, this happens because I put the information out there. My choice. And I am willing to put up with the consequences.
Without written permission on paper, signed, I would never post private information about someone else. If someone asks for an e-mail, I unless I am very familiar with both parties, I forward the message on to the person and let him/her respond to the one asking.
Nope. Take it down.

Here's what I noted:
I don't know if you guys are on the Forum or use the email list. I use the email list and any message I receive contains the email

I Googled each one of those email addresses and below you can read what popped up. As you can see there's a plethora of information
about each one of you out there for the asking including addresses and phone numbers!
My intent was not to perpetuate an argument or to "have the last word." What I was trying to point out was the fact that just by
posting to the GMCnet any ne'er-do-well can find out HEAPS of information about any of us using our email address.
Furthermore I would like to note I did not make any disparaging remarks about either David or George.
In retrospect I should have Googled myself to demonstrate the point.
I apologize to anyone and everyone that I have upset it was NOT my intent!
Now read the email entitled "Contributions for Dan" and send in a contribution in Dan's memory.
BTW I saved all the emails that people sent in offering condolences to Teri, there was over fifty of them, it would be nice if the
people who offered condolences contributed something to the Bootheel Youth Camp in his memory!
