I have the same experience with both of my carbs as Jerry W. has.
The first one Jim B. did & the 2nd Dick P. did & both carbs perform
exactly the same with absolutely no trouble.
I'd call that spreading the support.

Seriously, welcome to the group, getting logical heads together can never
be called a bad thing. Whatever happens, it will be fun.
I think maybe this was good, a reminder once in a while that while it may
be how you feel, there are other considerations and there has to always be
room to learn. I count myself extremely lucky to be here on the net from
maybe the first week or so. It has helped in a bit way to transform the
GMC motorhome from the fate many other neat but unappreciated and unused
machines usually end up. Hey, I really liked my Pinto wagon but where are
they!!!
So party on Garth, as was said, there have been reams of stuff on this
subject over the years, maybe read back a bit if you can or indulge the
group here as some of it could be regurgitated for your entertainment,.
It's OK, we don't care in fact it seems that sometimes we down right do it
on our own!
