The good news is that I have a barn I can keep the GMC in, out of the elements.
The bad news is that it just fits and I have to let the coach down a bit so the bolts of the spare fit under the the inside frame of the dutch door.
The good news is that I did that, when I parked it, two months ago. (saves crunching against the door)
The bad news is that Ruth's chicken pen is in that barn and they insist on fluffing their dust right through solid walls.
The good news is that it is raining and I thought I would rinse the coach off in the rain. (I know, lazy) I did brush it with the long hose brush... the rain felt good to us Californians.
The bad news is that I was in a hurry.
The good news I remembered to unplug the coach
The bad news is that when I started forward, it felt like something was dragging.
The good news is that I have lights in the barn.
The bad news is that I didn't bother to turn them on so the back of the coach was in the shadows.
The good news is that I had remembered to release the emergency brake.
The bad news is that I finally realized that the rear wheel was rubbing on a skid plate under the frige on the right.
The good news is that I can vent here, because I am not the only one who doesn't always think when I should.

You would think I would have noticed that the step was fairly low?? After two months! A little low in back! Ya Think?

Murphy's law at work.
If it can happen, it will.

So you have a barn and you can get your coach in it. Can I be your friend?

But if you do visit and decide to leave your coach for a couple of months, it will not find it's way into the barn. It will set out in the elements.

If it is any consolation, Wink, I feel sorta bad every time I see your coach out there... not enough to bring mine out and put yours in, but I feel sorta bad. It rained like crazy and I didn't find a drop inside your coach. So, you have that going for you. And you can be glad you winterized it. Our lowest has been 33. Odd warm winter.
