I moved to Las Vegas last summer and now I guess the air lines on my coach are finally complaining about the heat. I previously posted about losing an air line and was saved by the isolation valves at the air bags.
Now I recently noticed my aux vacuum pump coming on too frequently and the brake pedal seems a bit soft. I found a split hose on the vacuum dump line that runs from the brake pedal switch to the cruse control. Would a leak in this line cause my vacuum pump to run or is that line not directly connected to manifold vacuum?
I guess its just time to start replacing all those air and vacuum lines to beat the failure curve. As far as I know most of the lines are original equipment.

If it is the line going to the brake pedal under the dash, that line is NOT connected directly to engine vacuum. That line is connected to the Cruise Control bellows that pulls on the gas pedal. It prevents vacuum from being applied to the bellows when the brake pedal is pressed.
