Rear cap was cracked up and PO painted it black without washing it first, paint flaking of some spots.
Used Sikaflex urethane and pressed 12 OZ fiberglass cloth into it for the crack and hole repairs.
Took 40 LBS of crushed glass sandblasting to clean up the shell.
Sprayed the interior of it with Rockerguard, off white
Now I can get back to the ceiling and eventually fix and refinish the rest of the plastic.
took to long but what ya gunna do?

Yeah haven't had a chance to really work on it Mike. I was a year ago we bought that acreage on Vancouver Island, since then built a 22 hp walk behind brush cutter, a Chevy 4.3L V6 powered wood chipper, bought another motorhome, $400 c class and got it roadworthy and useable on the property and all the stuff positioned on the property.
First day working on the property with the chain saw dealing with hangers I tried to cut my leg off above the knee. I/2 way through the quad tendon and surgery went well. Weekend at the lake partying and back to it with my new chain saw pants and knee immobilizer. Equipment all worked well and we got the ocean and Washington coastline view back.
Rest of it since then has been sealing holes in the GMC roof and getting ready for winter, put together a Jeep for my daughter.
Hopefully ceiling and walls soon!

Hey Bill. Quite an improvement. Nice work.

Property sounds great. Post a picture of view when you can. GMC in the picture would provide GMC content for the purists.

Bill, So what you're saying is you've been taking it easy and relaxing at
the lake. Time to get a move on young fellow, we expect results !

Thank you for the chain saw story. A Warning to all using or about to use
that tool...
