I recently needed a new exhaust manifold gasket so I called Dave. I just thought that I would take a moment and express my appreciation and admiration of Dave. Many of you know him so you already know what a gentleman he is. You no doubt are aware of his extraordinary skills as well. I first met Dave about 12 years ago at a Sunshine Statesman's rally in Florida and we have crossed paths a few times since. I have purchased some of his products over the years and they are as good as anyone could make. His workmanship and attention to detail is an inspiration to do the best we can.
While he does not contribute to the GMCnet directly, his contribution here is enormous. Just look at how many times he is mentioned. Maybe working 10 hour days in your mid 70's to provide us GMCers with parts is enough of a contribution.
For those of you who are not familiar with Dave, take a few minutes and check out what he is doing and what he provides. Information is available here http://www.bdub.net/GMCSupplierLinks.html
I know that he will not see this post but I will say it anyway. Thanks Dave and see you down the road.

AMEN!

Here's a direct link:
http://www.bdub.net/lenzi/

FYI, prices are probably not up to date. And, I know that the product line
is lacking recent additions. Dave just doesn't have time for such matters.
He isn't real "email efficient", so a phone call is suggested.

Could not agree more. I have had the pleasure of meeting and talking with him a few times as I am pretty close to the skunk works. I keep asking if he wants an apprentice.

Among a group of guys who are 'class acts', Dave is one of the best. I've had the pleasure of spending time with him at 3 GMCMI rallies now. He is one sharp cookie and a nicer guy you just won't find.

Some of you may have noticed that he did not make it to Chippewa Falls and it was said that this was a result of medical issues. As much as I did not want to pry, I called and got to talk to Mary. Fortunately, that was my plan from the get-go.

Dave is doing OK. I did not ask for specifics, but he has finished the round of Chemo and starts a radiation sequence in a week or so. That will probably keep him slow until about spring. We can all just hope and pray that this works for him.

I figure I still owe him at least one good diner.

Here here for Dave. I've had the privilidge of tagging along during his front end shake downs and found several worn parts or improperly installed parts for owners. He is a great teacher and his explanation of how to optimze allignment allowed me to DIY mine with the Jerry Work kit and getting over 4 deg caster on my coach. No offset bushings. Drives great and my front tires and fuel economy are happy as welll. Dave is a master of KISS but with well placed improvements where warranted. Feel better.

G'day,

Both Double Trouble and The Blue Streak have Dave's remanufactured:

Hubs
Knuckles
Idler Arm
Relay Lever
Sensitized Booster
Offset Upper Control Arms

The quality of the workmanship on those parts exceeds OEM by a long shot!
