John -
Dunno if you have this one or not. It's in a shop in Roanoke VA, mechanic friend yanked the non-functional tank selectors and installed a pair of pumps with check valves and a relay to run them off the selector switch, cleaned the crud from the valve out of the carb filter and bypassed the mechanical pump. Says it runs way better, belongs to a local. You may have it already:

VIN# TZE167V100464

John,
Don't know how thoroughly you sift through postings, but the recent post "avion wanted" has a link with pictures of a '75 for sale. One of the pictures is of the glove box service label and shows vin # 5V100257.

Here is the link;

Update - Owner of the Roanoke coach is Dave Trinkle. It's a Palm Beach. Mechanic bud says coach runs way better now. He told the owner carb is due, and a Patterson rebuild installed will cost about the same as their shop doing it locally. Owner is off on a trip in it, will decide.

That's a no brainer. Send it to Paterson. Local shop MAY get it right. DickP will FOR SURE get it right.

Chris,

I don't understand what you are trying to point out in your email below.

The VIN number of the Avion in the Craigslist ad is:

TZE365V100257

Johnny noted the VIN number of the Roanoke is:

TZE167V100464

If you go to the Maintenance Manual you will find the following:

36 = Transmode 26'
16 = GMC Motorhome 26'

5 = Year designator = 1975
7 = Year designator = 1977

V = Assembly Plant = Pontiac

100257 = Sequential Number
100464 = Sequential Number

All Avions started life as Transmodes 23' or 26'

I was just pointing out a potential new vin to John Shotwell
FYI you can uniquely identify any GM vehicle from this era with the last 8 characters of the vin. The first 5 provide additional info but there are no repeats in the string of the last 8 (year, plant and sequence)
