Got her all winterized tonight. Going to be cold in the Northeast.

Installed bypass kit on the hot water heater
Installed bypass kit on water pump to suck in antifreeze
Drained hot water heater
Drained fresh water tank
Blew water lines out with one valve open at a time
Pumped antifreeze into water lines until pink came out each valve
Antifreeze in all drains
Grey and black talk valves in full open position

Used the same process on my truck camper for many many years without a problem.

Goals for winter projects include:
New toilet
New flooring in rear bath
Drop fuel tanks
New fuel lines

Add one more thing to your list:

Move South...

IMHO it is just now getting to be good camping weather where we only have to run one roof air, rather than two. Smile

Stick, that is a great idea. Move South. I like the way you think. I'll run that by the CFO along with early retirement and see what she thinks. The last time I checked she said I needed to work another 20 years to keep her in the lifestyle she is accustomed to.

I just put another shovel of coal on the fire to keep us warm tonight.

A common misconception for people that stay up there where snow ruins half their lives annually.

Move down here where you spend a couple hundred a year on heating instead of thousands and a few hundred in annual real estate taxes instead of thousands, and suddenly you don't need to work until you're 70 to retire.

And use your GMC year-round.
