My answer to Mike's question.

Loffen, Can you describe how you lifted the body to remove the frame. Pictures would be great. I have to replace my frame rails one of these days. I already have the replacement frame. Thanks

No problem.

What you do not see is that the lower cross bar that goes through the windows do not touch the window frame but extend up to the alu roof frame.
The rear was lifted with a high lift jack, the body is empty so there is not much weight to talk about.

Awesome. What is the dimension on the base 2-4 and how long are the vertical 2-4's? Hard to guess in the picture.

The total height is 14' and the lenght at the base are just over 6'

The top and lift bar are 2 x 6" and 13' long and I used a 2 x 4" as a support on the lift bar inside the coach.

You would need something to secure it from moving sideways, I just used a wire to a good anchor point, but it is pretty stable as the two verticals are tilted towards each other

Great set of pictures. I was going to post that it needed something to stop
It going sideways....but you covered that. Simple large triangles of 1/2
Plywood at the top would work too.

Great set of pictures. ...

I also found the pictures useful. I used them to make a scaled down version to swap bodies on my Sidekicks.

Nice that you could use it Mike, It do look really good.

Mine was stable, not great but good enough, and I think yours would have been better if you did tilt the sides inwards at the top, but you did get the job done so not a large issue Smile
