I have a 1975 Palm Beach GMC Motorhome (455 Olds Toronado) and need a replacement oil pressure sending unit. The electrical connection tab broke off on mine and I obtained what was supposed to be a correct replacement from a local supply house. However, the replacement consistently now shows my oil pressure at 10 psi, regardless of load or rpm.
My coach has a "Mac" retrofitted dash and gauges - I don't know if that makes a difference or not. My previous (accurate) sending unit is die stamped with "80" and "1349". I have tried to upload a photo of my previous (accurate) sending unit, or look at:

Thanks!

Mike,
Your best bet is to go to bdub.net, check the vendors list for "Custom
Instrument Panels", and contact "Mac" McNeil. That way you'll be sure to
get the right part the first time. :-)

I have one that came off of my 74 GMC 455. It doesn't have any numbers on it except U.S. Pat 4.079.351. If you want it you may have it for the postage. It is in Madison, WI.

Make sure the one they sold you is for an Oil Pressure Gage and not an oil pressure switch for an oil light.

I have the Mac dash and it uses the same oil pressure sender. The one that I use is a NAPA number OP6636SB, and that is the 0 to 80 PSIG sender. NAPA calls it a switch but it is a pressure sender. Your Mac dash should have a 0-80 gauge. My guess is that the guy sold you a pressure switch and that is not what you want.
