How one handle scheduled maintenance on a mult-thousand mile trip??
I am in the planning stages of a long excursion. As it currently shapes up, it will be something like 8Kmi. That will make at least an engine oil change and two front end lubes. It is a 23' coach that will be seriously packed at departure and there is no way I can carry a jack and stands.
Our longest to date has been only 4376. That did not require a front end lube of engine lube oil change. Greasing the bogies in not that tough.
Ideas would be helpful.

A bottle Jack is a nice tool to have if you need to change a tire. It would also be nice to have some wood to level the coach in some places ,they could take the place of the stand. You must have a grease gun on board if you grease the bogies then all you need is a jump suit and an oil filter wrench and oil plug wrench with a desire to get greasy.

Black list i would say is the answer there. Either meet and do work with fellow gmcer. Or someone can point you to a shop you can work with and trust
Anyone near st. Cloud can stop by my place if needed.

Drop by to visit a Black Lister as Jim said or in my case late at night in
a parking lot for the oil and filter change. WalMarts are good for this as
they have a supply of rags, oil, drain pans and just about anything you
need.
In the morning, the Shop will take your used oil, the drain pan and any
other trash related to the change.
You will need a small jack for greasing assorted bits....don't try to do
everything in one night as it attracts attention.
Just what I do....

Run synthetic oil and grease with moly grease and don't worry about it until you get back. If ya feel ya just gotta then, as suggested, hit the balck list. As you do communicate on GMCNet/forum when you start getting close to desired mile limits start asking. Someone within a reasonable distance will chime in I bet.

On our recent 4k trip, a oil change was overdue and no suitable shops were
available.
While at a Walmart I discovered they'll perform the work (have pits there)
with your materials if desired. Ran across the street to O'reillys (Walmart
seems to always have an O'reillys nearby) for the proper Wix filter and
oil. Made a big deal about "ONLY 5 Quarts no matter what the dipstick says).
I'm sure some wouldn't trust them to do a simple oil change but it worked
out just fine as these gets seemed to care and were intrigued with the GMC.

Matt,
Don't get up tight about it. During our 12,000 mile trip to Alaska and our
10,000 mile trip to CA I used my usual synthetic oil. With no short trips,
almost all paved roads, and normal oil consumption/replacement, I saw no
reason to worry at all about that. Since I always use Synpower grease, the
only thing I worried about greasing was the bogie pins -- one of the
"miniature" grease guns took care of them -- a couple of times.
I haven't seen any detrimental results from that laissze faire maintenance.

Jack??? I leave it on the tires to do oil, filter and grease. But I'm able to slide under. You are probably ok at that mileage but pushing the envelope. Welcome here but I'm only a day out from you.

I've done an oil change in a state park in South Carolina once. I brought along a bottle jack and some wood blocks. Stored them in the LP gas compartment. I used them to support the coach where I was working in the unlikely event (would be a real killer) that a tire, air bag or torsion bag failed or broke. I'd hate to have that happen while I was under there. I bought the oil, filter and a pan at a local auto parts store and recycled them back to the same store.
It might be more of a pain if I was bigger and could not squeeze under the coach without having to jack it up much. It took less than 20 minutes to change oil and filter in the daytime.
