Question
Within the last month I've started getting a strong gas smell in the coach after driving and then shutting off the engine.  It lingers for awhile and then goes away.  The smell only occurs after running and then shutting the engine off.

My crossovers are blocked.
Vapor canister is brand new.

Any ideas on what's going on?

Thanks for the help everyone.

Ray

Ray, fuel filter housing on the carb inlet where it screws into the float
bowl has a gasket that needs to be pretty tight. Often is not installed.
Other sources can be mechanical fuel pump inlet and outlet fittings and
lines. I you have a toronado pump with three fittings, check the third
unused fitting and block off. Another can be the lead plugs in the bottom
of the pot metal float casting. The leaks usually stop when you shut off
the engine so check them with the hatch cover and air cleaner removed with
engine running.
