Anybody stayed at the Kirtland AFB campground in Albuquerque? Likes? Dislikes? They say they don't take reservations, do it stay full?
Thanks,
Johnny

It will be full this week with the Balloon Fiesta going for sure. It's been years since I stayed there but it was ok at that time. Sorry I'm no more help on availability.

Retired FANG, so I'm covered on that basis. There's a show which will have a bunch of BWDs in Albuquerque next Spring. I'm vacillating between taking the GMC or just driving out in the toad and doing Motel 6. The trip is two days less in the toad, but the GMC trumps the 6 any time. Price of fuel at the moment will likely be the deciding factor.
