Remanufactured Carb $400 (Applied Reman costs $390 + core $180 = $670)

Is this math correct?

You can send your carb to Dick Paterson and get one of His back for a few
hundred bucks plus shipping.

Hey look, things seem to cost more sometimes in California. To get a
quality rebuilt carb isn't cheap-- don't squeeze the buffalo. I too
remanufacture carbs and my price is around the same, $3-400 is good for a
custom reman carb. If it's closer to the top or bottom, don't kill the guy
that isn't the total cheapest. I will not tell you what my remans are if
it is the difference in you buying it from Dick, Jim or me. Buy from the
folks you support, who is near you and who you like. Everything is never
equal.

Kinda like paint, if you are happy then fine but everyone doing things do
not do it all the same way-- there are never apples to apples in this
business...

I'm told that Dick won't reman a warped carb. If you send him one and he cannot use it due to being warped or the wrong model, you will pay for a core... $570 total. Sorry, $670 was a typo.

Jim B Remanned this one and it rocks.
Make me an offer. I got asking price for the intake. I can wait to sell it to someone who needs it. There are plenty who don' t currently have the right core.

These are completely remanufactured, stock j heads.
They (same as all others) do not come with any rockers.
There are screw in stud kits available for using Chevy type floating, adjustable rockers.
The chambers are unmolested, stock.
Valve springs are stock and the heights are to OEM specs.
3 angle valve seats.
