If you plan to stop at the Mall of America on your way to Chippewa Falls, be warned.
You will be required to park in BFE (a long ways from anything).
If you have a towd, you can drive into the garages. But if not then, be ready because the RV lot is about an half a mile from the nearest accessible entrance. There are NO GUIDES.
You are on your own and there are no printed maps available.
We aren't going back.
We both remember having a good time there last time, and we will remember this time as well.

Matt, sorry you were not directed to the parking lot across the street, but I understand your frustration. There is allot of construction going on around the MoA and getting around bites.
Safe and Happy travels!

There's also a light rail line directly to the mall that will allow you to park miles away if needed.

Neal,
We were directed to the parking lot "across the street". That street being Lindau (just to the north). From where we were instructed to park - I called the mall desk - it was an honest half mile to the door. And that is assuming you can find an entrance door. We did finally with the help of a native.

Bob,
When were finally near the door, I saw the train. As I am not a native of M,StP, I had no idea where I could board said trolly.

Executive summary: It is isn't on the website or on signs in appropriate places, it does not exist.
As it does not match either, we aren't going back in the RV and that is the only way I will ever be near there again.

I know this may sound a little hard, but I get real tired of dealing with situations that are screwed up because someone didn't do his job. This excursion has been full of same. (List on request if you buy the beer. I do keep a detailed log.)

Matt - again Sam's guest.

I live in Minnesota and have been the the MOA a few times, there is no good parking there. Even the ramps can be a hike!

The only good reason IMHO to go to the mall is to bring kids to the park in the dead of winter.
That was a godsend when they were little and cooped up inside.

Agree. I'm 15 minutes away and might make it there two times a year. I only go during the week and only if I need something from a specialty store that can be found there.

We are 15-20 min from MOA, when it was first opened we went expecting it to be a one time trip to check out the 'tourist attraction'. We go there exclusively now when we need a 'mall' run; once we figured out the prime parking spots we can run in and out of there easier than any other mall.

Just (mho),
