Wolf is a new one to me. It's being auctioned locally. Haven't seen it in person but the interior is just walls, ceiling, and lights.

Looks like they are into specialty vehicles. Broadcast vehicle from the past?

Interesting link with some interesting GMCs, Cortezs, etc.

Not sure what this one was. Dual airs. looks like an electronics display/demo setup. I see HUNTSVILLE on the side and a Marshall Space Flight Center decal from 2007. Can't make out the logo.

Might be a chance to make a coach from scratch. Rear dry bath, twin beds. Based on what I've learned, it's probably easier and cheaper to start from nothing than work AROUND what you have but don't really like.

My transmode was a mobile sales room for Furnas Electric. Only body windows was rear and door. Aftermarket upfitter did entire interior including a non power drawer Onan and electric heat. With all the display items it had more BX in it than my house.

Looked at the pictures. Similar to what mine is like. I suspect that was a "standard" order configuration for Transmodes sold to upfitters for commercial uses.

In looking at more detail at the photos, I can see power strips running around the mid wall and what looks like recessed florescence lights at the top. So an electronic display van makes sense. In this photo:

It appears to have two Onan boxes. Normal coaches have the propane tank and water tank on the right rear. Since this didn't have plumbing (no holes in the floor for black tank access either), I'm betting there is no black tank either.

The two AC units look fairly modern. Certainly not the originals like on my 75 parts coach.

The air lines have been cut also going into the left rear wheel well. I wonder if the compressor is under the hood or was removed with the interior furnishings? I can see on the floor there were some shallow cabinets around the wheel wells. Looks to be some water damage at the back end.

The lights and panduit look vaguely similar to the Starships we had for remote broadcasts, 26' Transmodes outfitted by Sony with remote broadcast and local sound gear. One belonged to WAAF (crank it UP!!!) in Scenic Woostah, MA. The other was in Orlando at our facilities there. No idea what went with either of them when we sold the company. Dominic Bordunaro in Bridgeport CT could probably tell if someone wants to buy that one.

Wolf did a lot of custom vehicles, based on the GMC 26' Transmode. One was auctioned at Eglin AFB, Fl a few years ago. It had twin Onans, no propane, reinforced roof with metal flooring in top and lots of 19" equipment racks. Apparently was used as a mobile instrumentation vehicle somewhere on the Eglin AFB.
Was painted in AF Blue with typical govt external serial numbers.
Purchaser attempted to drive it home, but as I remember, it only went a short distance before giving up the ghost. Never did know who the purchaser was or where it was going.

Tom,

I think the Elgin AFB GMC is sitting next to your old coach at the BOUNDS RESORT
(COOP) in Orlando.
