Hey... My project coach is missing the passenger side chrome trim and molding. Is it interchangeable from side to side?

Can you buy it new somewhere?

How bout the rubber trim?

How is the chrome molding held on? Screws, rivets?

Do I have to get inside to hold a nut?

Thanks again for all your help...

The trim is different as the passenger side is sized to allow for the door opening. JimB uses aluminum strip (1/8" x 2") to replace the metal extrusion, then applies a stick-on bumper strip over the aluminum ( if desired). There was more than one style used over the years, but it is generally screwed into the side of the body.

Though you may be able to find some used, the only folks that may have it new would be Cinnebar in Michigam.
