The gasket between the head, and the right manifold was blown out. Pulled the manifold, and found that the manifold has the start of a small crack. So I went to my parts stash. The cracked manifold that I removed from my 78 403 casting number is 554581. The manifold from my stash is 411970. It looks a little different. But I think it will fit. As all the angles look right. Anyone able to fill me in on this?

Sir, the 455 & 403 share the same left manifold but the right manifold is different. The 403 is a small block and has a deeper notch for clearing the oil cooling adapter.
