Before I acquired my coach a tow truck driver managed to drop it on its rear bumper. The chrome is bent but salvageable, but the driver side bracket is destroyed. Anyone have a source for this, I’d only need one rear bracket for my 78.

The front bumper and brackets were similarly damaged by someone trying to move my coach with a forklift in the past.

When you say destroyed, how bad is it really? I was able to remove my bumper and give the brackets some good whacks with a 10 pound sledge. I was using a tape measure to check my progress and to make certain the bumper holes themselves were staying aligned.

Looks great now, took about 1 hour start to finish.

Do you think your bracket could be restored using a similar method? Where there is a will there is always a really big hammer.

P.S. I do know a guy who has what you are looking for, I will see if he is willing to part with a set if yours are not repairable, he is going to want cash for his though.
