I just noticed on page 35 of the September 2014 issue of FMCA magazine an ad for a new sound and heat deadening kit from Silent Running. They make what we found to be very effective spray/roll on coatings that really quiet down the inside of a GMC. This kit, priced at $115, includes a gallon of the sound deadening product, a gallon of the thermal insulator product (to be sprayed on over the sound deadener) and, from the picture apparently also includes a spray applicator. That is plenty to do the whole underside of the cockpit area and hatch cover, and likely the underside of the stairs (as much as you can reach anyway, and some of the area under and around the mufflers. Web site is listed as www.sr-car.com.

Usual disclaimers - no affiliation, no compensation, etc.

I applied the Lizard Acoustic as well as their Heat Shield material to my Avanti Fiberglas body with great results.  Have some left over and will coat the bottom of the gas tanks with the heat shield and apply both to the underside over the engine.
The new SS headers are a lot nosier.
Yes we are finally home with the coach after engine failure in Pendleton, Or, then again in Ogden Utah also replaced 2 trannies.  I plan on posting the events and some cheap advice that could save you thousands.  Just send me 500 and you will get a 20percent monthly interest . Just kidding on that but I believe I have your attention.
Best regards from a happy married couple who endured about 3 months of testing with our Coach.
