Finally swapping it out and want to make sure that all I need to do is cut the positive and negative cables off the buzz box and hook them up to progressive dynamics converter PD 9260?

Thanks, hope it's that simple.

Mike,
Which coach are you changing out the converter/charge in? Just make sure that you hitch the positive to positive and the negative to negative. Mark the wires BEFORE you disconnect you disconnect them. Both GMC and Coachman used black wire for both leads most of the time. Don’t cut the wires too short on the Buzz Box and it can be used for a number of projects. The positive should go to the fuse block and the negative will go to the body. I would suggest that you clean the connection to the aluminum body strut and put some dielectric grease on the connection. I would also suggest that you put new wire from the charger to the ground, black #8 and to the fuse block, #8 red.

Thanks JR. It's the Palm Beach. I wanted to just cut and reuse wires from buzz box and at a later date run new #8. I'll give it a whirl.

Mike,
The #8 wire is not that expensive, go to your favorite hardware store or Big Box store and get 3 or 4 feet each of red and black. You will need 1 or 2 wire connector for the one end to the body. Do it right the first time!
