After spending nearly a week cleaning about 37 years of dirt, grease, oil, oily leaves, and whatever else I could find. Then replacing the front crankshaft seal, torquing down the loose bolts on the governor case, the oil filter mount, and replacing the leaking oil pressure switch, my Onan is purring like a kitten and not leaking oil. The question is: What do you guys torque the flywheel to? I ask the question because the manual X-7525B states on page 24c-33 in the paragraph right after step 12 to torque at 45 ft lbs and it refers to both 4 and 6 KW. Now on page 24c-52, same manual, in the 6KW Torque Specs to torque at 35-40 ft lbs. Just to be in the middle, I used 40. Is this a good number? Anyway, tomorrow I install the Bovee Pertronic Electronic Ignition, now that I know it is running good.
