Very cool Bill! All of those small ones together are probably worth more
than my full-sized one! Lol

Bill,

I saw what looked like the orange hot wheel for sale in a consignment shop
last week for $113 US. Don't know if they will get it....but made me to maybe regret
giving it to a nephew of mine. Oh well, he has a good time with his and I have a
good time with my full size GMC.

Hi Jim, the value of different models of GMC HotWheels can be considerable. The regular version of the orange GMC HW often starts at $1, the same orange HW with red line wheels starts at $100. The goldchrome version can be several hundred dollars, on top of that condition is everything.

That's pretty cool, I like the orange one on the plaque.

Didn't know Barbie drove a 23 footer either.

Bill, very cool!

I have all of them but the 1/16th fiberglass model. I don't think I will ever get one of those to complete my collection since it was a one of a kind apparently.

I need to paint my Barbie Doll MotorHome to match my PalmBeach's current paint job like the one in you photo. Did you paint that or was that available as a Barbie Doll toy back in the day?

The original intent for the 1/16th model was to use it in the Gugenheim wind tunnel to determine the MHs Cd. Several more were built and used as retirement gifts for key MH employees. The one I have was given to John Locklin and I just donated it to the GM Heritage Center.

There are 3 original Barbie Doll GMC MH models, Star Traveler (yellow), Western Star Traveler (tan) & Rockers (lavender/splash). I painted my PB Barbie back when you could buy them new and now the frosted mint green is starting to peel. Used a plastic primer but some plastics don't take kindly to paint.
